For years, I’ve been teaching, demoing, experimenting — and don’t get me wrong, I love every bit of it.
But so much of my creative energy has gone into teaching art, that I started missing the experience of making art for realz.
Art that isn’t just a sample.
Art that isn’t just a test piece or a demo reel.
Art that belongs in a frame.

About three years ago, I had this little spark of an idea for a yearlong class. Something deliciously creative and playful — a feast of experimentation, served in small, flavorful bites.
But I wasn’t ready yet.
So, I did what many of us do when inspiration hits at the wrong time: I stuck a pin in it.
And you know what happens to ideas that matter?
They don’t go away.
They wait.
They simmer.
They whisper, “Hey, remember me?”
So I finally listened.
At Collage-Lab, we believe that art should be fun, freeing, and full of happy accidents.
Each week brings a new project to spark curiosity and keep your creativity flowing.
Every month, join a live Zoom session to connect, share, and be inspired in community.
You’ll explore a wide variety of materials and techniques — from textiles and texture to wax, resin, paper, and beyond — all through short, approachable lessons designed for play, not perfection.
Inside you'll find:
Structure without pressure
Inspiration without overwhelm
A community that lifts you up
Permission to be you
Rediscover the joy of making art that feels alive, authentic, and personal without overthinking. Each week’s bite-sized project keeps your creativity flowing and your ideas fresh.

Experiment with new materials, techniques, and approaches in a supportive, low-pressure environment. You’ll build both your toolbox and your trust in your own creative instincts.

By the end of the year, you’ll have a cohesive collection of work that reflects your unique voice. Art you’ll love, learn from, and be proud to share with the world.
Collage-Lab has so many fun opportunities to expand my collage knowledge! I really enjoyed Treasure Trovember last year and signed up for Amuse Bouche this year with new lessons every week! Amuse Bouche has really exposed me to different techniques and tools I wasn't familiar with that I really want to try to incorporate into my work! I look forward to each Monday's lesson! So far my favorite was "Excavation " which i plan to try again soon!
I cannot believe that you have 52 different techniques to share with us. I’m very new to art and I’m having so much fun. I can’t wait to get up in the morning to try something new. I haven’t had the opportunity to try everything I want to try and there are some I’m not interested in but there is sooo much and so little time! Outside of Amuse Bouche, I love the monthly challenges. I haven’t had the courage to attend the meet ups and my excuse is that I’m not available but I watch everything afterwards. Kelly, you’re funny, happy and so very inspiring. I’m so glad I found you.

You won't "fall behind" - you'll simply pick up the next bite. The video lessons and guides are yours for life.
No. All levels can thrive here - beginners and seasoned artists alike. I'll walk you through each new technique and each project has a detailed guide that you can download.
Most are 30–40 minutes. Short enough to fit your week. Deep enough to inspire real work.
No—this is not a subscription. It’s simply a way to divide the full cost of the course into smaller payments. You are committing to the full investment when you enroll. Because you receive immediate access to course materials (, the payment plan cannot be canceled once you enroll. All payments must be completed.
This is your monthly accountability, and an opportunity to share. You'll get to know each other on Zoom and in our private Facebook Group.
I'll share a full supply list, but I believe in "use what you have" and will offer ideas to improvise or substitute. Some of the techniques will require specialty supplies (like encaustic wax and resin), but we will use those items more than once throughout the year and you can determine if you want to explore those techniques or not.
No, this is a standalone experience, a one-time investment, and a work-at-your-own-pace way to explore, experiment, and create.
